In January 1919 Josef Maier takes over a business in Vilshofen dealing in oil, petroleum, greases, candles and paints.
In 1929 he installs the first petrol pump in Vilshofen.

1938
In 1938 his sons Oskar und Erich joined the company.

1953
From the beginning of the fifties, Maier continues to supply his customers with heating oil. In 1953, as a partner of the Deutsche Erdöl - Aktiengesellschaft DEA (German Mineral Oil Corporation), he begins to develop a network of petrol stations throughout Lower Bavaria

1961
Oskar Maier combines far-sightedness and entrepreneurial flair to create a modern mineral oil business.

1987
With Alexander Maier, the third generation joins the family business in 1987. Under his direction, multi-award-winning Oiltainer-System® is introduced and the Tank Team service for all technical requirements.

1938
In1938 in Passau, Fritz Korduletsch establishes an agency of the German - American Petroleum company, the forerunner of ESSO

1950
Immediately after the war, the business is started up again and flourishes. In 1950, Fritz Korduletsch signs an agency contract with ESSO for motor fuels, petroleum and lubricants.

1953
Following the death of Fritz Korduletsch, Karolina Korduletsch takes over the management of the company, supported by Rudolf Goschler, who has been working for the company since 1951.

1955
Building on previous business success, the company extends its product range to include heating oil and experiences rapid growth in the following years. The rising demand for mineral oil products leads Korduletsch to construct the ESSO storage in Passau in 1965

1978
IIn 1978 Johann Goschler joins the company. After 11 years with the company, he becomes a member of the management team in 1989.

2002
The two companies merge to bring their products and services under one roof. Maier|Korduletsch brings the energy.

10/2003
After 25 years in the mineral oil trade, Johann Goschler retires from an active business role.
His share of the business is taken over by Maier Mineralöle GmbH. As a result, Maier|Korduletsch Mineraloel GmbH comes into 100% ownership of the Maier family.

12/2006
In 2006 the product portfolio was extended to include renewable energy sources - wood pellets as heating fuel and vegetable-based motor fuel. In December 2006 the company was re-named Maier|Korduletsch Energie GmbH.

03/2008
Depot in the Czech Republic
Since March 2008, Maier Korduletsch has been using the services of a logistics company in the Czech Republic. This collaboration allows us to ensure a fast and flexible delivery service to our customers in the Czech and Slovakian Republics
